Summit
Construction Manual |
Introduction
- As you prepare to begin building your new Summit Powered
Parachute there are some helpful tips we would like to pass on to
you when using this manual. This manual is designed in such a way
that the each step is a sequence and it is suggested that is
followed. Read through the step completely before beginning the
step assembly as there may be information part way through the
step that will pertain to your particular assembly that may
require you to look at instructions in a step further in the
manual. These notations are usually in BOLD print.
- PARTS LIST CODES: The part numbers are listed at the beginning
of each step. The parts in the kit are also labeled. All colored
parts are coded with a BE for BLUE , BK for BLACK, and GD for
GOLD. When you look at the Part number in the construction
manual you will notice that the color code letter has been left
out of the Part Number. This is done so that the same
Construction Manual can be used for all colors. The Part Number
identity is followed by the description of the part.
EXAMPLE: As it would appear on the colored
part.

- The Diagrams provided follow the description of the Step. It is
a good practice to study the diagram after completely reading the
step instructions so that you know what it should look like as you
work directly on you airframe.
